OUR HISTORY
JERICHO is a classic Maine wooden picnic boat. Named for the bay which lies between Mount Desert Island and Isle au Haut, JERICHO is the perfect way to experience a slice of history while experiencing the breathtaking Maine coast. Built in 1956 by the famous Raymond Bunker and Ralph Ellis, JERICHO is one of only 57 crafts built by the duo. She is widely considered to be the crown jewel of the fleet. JERICHO was originally commissioned specifically for Thomas S. Gates, Jr, former Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Navy and Ambassador to China. She is still owned and enjoyed by his descendants.
